At Munich High End 2025, Brinkmann unveiled Nyquist ONE: the next chapter of our reference Streaming Digital-to-Analog Processor. Conceived to advance the State of the Audio Art while honouring our promise of true longevity, Nyquist ONE refines every aspect of the original Nyquist concept—sound quality, stability, convenience and, above all, upgradeability. As always with Brinkmann, it’s built to be enjoyed today
and cherished for years to come.

Brinkmann’s unique, user-replaceable Digital Module remains at the heart of Nyquist ONE. This architecture virtually eliminates obsolescence by allowing future digital advancements to be installed in minutes, keeping every Nyquist on the cutting edge. Owners of previous Nyquist generations benefit as well: forthcoming modules are designed for cross-generation compatibility, protecting investments and simplifying upgrades.

Drawing on circuit concepts pioneered in our TraNt power supply, Nyquist ONE features a completely reimagined power architecture and optimized board layout that further reduces noise and jitter while enhancing dynamic ease. The result is higher resolution and greater musical naturalness—more “there-ness”—without sacrificing the warmth and flow that define Brinkmann playback. In signature fashion, a meticulously voiced hybrid topology combines advanced digital processing with an analog output stage employing NOS Telefunken tubes. Precision clock management and custom digital filters preserve timing and tone with an effortlessness that makes technology disappear and music take center stage.

Because true High End demands both performance and ease, Nyquist ONE offers comprehensive connectivity—including Ethernet and USB for streaming playback—along with balanced, single-ended and discrete headphone outputs. Carefully chosen, format-specific filters ensure optimal results across today’s most important digital media. A crisp OLED display enhances legibility and reliability, while the included remote provides intuitive control of input selection, volume (headphone), mute and phase/invert.

Craftsmanship remains unmistakably Brinkmann. Every chassis is machined and finished to exacting standards from German-made parts and subassemblies, ensuring mechanical serenity and long-term stability. To complement a wide range of systems, Nyquist ONE is available in three finishes: all Black, all Silver, or Silver faceplate with Black chassis and heat sinks. (Legacy display modules may be ordered for visual harmony in existing installations.)

Designed by Helmut Brinkmann and the Brinkmann Design Team, Nyquist ONE stands as the purest expression of our “Investment Quality” ideal: timeless engineering, matchless materials and field-replaceable digital modules that make tomorrow’s performance available today.

Nyquist ONE—simply the finest digital component available today
 and tomorrow.

Consistent with Brinkmann’s Investment Quality philosophy, Nyquist ONE maintains full compatibility for future digital modules with previous Nyquist generations.

However, due to extensive changes in the analog circuitry, the original Nyquist cannot be upgraded to the new ONE model.

Future digital modules will remain compatible with earlier Nyquist versions, ensuring continued support and upgradeability across the product line.
